Right now more than 1.3 million homeless children are living in shelters and on the streets across America.
Every year 25,000 kids turn 18 and “age out” of the child welfare system. Many of them end up living on our homeless. With three out of every ten homeless adults admitting to a history of foster care, experts suggest the next wave of homeless in America may be orphans who were never adopted.
